Federal Court affirms the decision of the High Court and Court of Appeal for the case of
Yeow Guang Cheng vs. Tang Lee Hiok [2020] 1 LNS 1696
17 October 2022, today the Federal Court has unnanimously affirm the decision of the High Court and Court of Appeal.

The decision of the Apex Court affirms that 1) Section 10OA of the Money Lenders Act is applicable in Civil Cases. 2) Restitution of illegal object (ie. the money lent) is not applicable in illegal transaction.
